  6. Dear Sir,
Pls. make me know whether United India insurance- Generalist officer is better than Bank PO according 2 salary & promotion? Its Rs.33,000 as the salary of a Generalist officer of UIIC as given in d advt. published by UIIC? Also mention the future growth comparing with bank po…pls..reply.

    • Both banking and insurance sector are fast growing sector and offers very good career opportunities…

PO is better than Generalist officer both career growth wise as well as salary wise…PO’s salary is increased after 10 Bipartite agreement(effective from Nov’12) though not implemented yet but you will get the increased salary as arrears after DEC’14.

Generalist officer job is less hectic and is good for aspirants preparing for UPSC or other exams.

  12. So far, we have heard about cut off marks. But is it possible for the IBPS or the Govt. to deny job to a Interview qualifier? Has it ever been happened before? I think every P.O Interview qualifier will get appointment now or within one year time. What’s your take on it? Please Reply.

  13. “As on September 30, all Government-owned banks had a total vacancy (officers, clerks and sub-staff combined) of 84,489. Of this, banks plan to recruit 63,200 during the current financial year. As on March-end 2012, the total workforce of public sector banks (including nationalised banks, SBI and its associate banks) was 8,01,509.”–Source ‘http://www.thehindubusinessline.com/industry-and-economy/banking/63000-public-sector-bank-jobs-up-for-grabs-this-financial-year/article4098832.ece’. So I think the vacancies in current recruitment process belongs to 2012-2013 Financial Year. Due to this reason, we can expect huge number of recruitment in this financial year. Am I Right?
