IBPS Combined Result for CWE & Interview Clerk 2013 Analysis

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) declared the final result of IBPS Clerk II recruitment. The Common Written Examination was conducted on 15 December 2012, 16 December 2012, 22 December 2012, and 23 December 2013. The candidates who were qualified in written examination had gone through Common interview process started from 16 March 2013. The selection of the candidates will be based on the performance in written examination and interview. The candidates who have qualified the interview will be eligible to apply for 19 Public Sector Banks Recruitment Process in a year.

  •  IBPS will release the notification in mid-April 2013, announcing the number of vacancies in the participating PSBs.
  • The order of preference of banks will be obtained from successful candidates through a registration process which will be available on IBPS website from 15.04.2013 to 22-04-2013.
  • Depending on the vacancies in each bank of his/ her preference, a successful candidate will receive through a computerised system an offer from one of the participating PSBs. The allotment will be done in May 2013.

IBPS Clerk 2012  Analysis

  • Approx 1lakh candidates cleared written.
  • Around 10% might have not given interview.
  • And around 10% might have not cleared interview.
  • Many are already selected in PO,SBI Associate,RRB,SSC etc.
  • No of vacancies are 40,000approx(less than expected).
  • I think max 70k candidates will be against 40k vacancies.
  • Many will not join due to various reasons.
  • So,Lot of you guys have good chances of selection if not in first list than in waiting list.
  • Its difficult to predict  any safe score or cut off as there are state wise vacancies.
  • Hope IBPS will come out with sate wise cut off list in the future.
  • Allotment will be based on merit cum preference basis so give preference acc to bank’s ranking,no of vacancies etc.
  • If you go for banks with higher vacancies than there is a higher possibility that you may get posting of your choice. So acc. to me go for banks with good pay structure and high vacancies first.

  1. Sir U.C.O Bank are recruting less number of candidate then there alloted quota specified earlier in IBPS notification does it imply that 2nd list will be definitely round the corner in coming days.

  5. Hi admin. i asked one of the high official about increase in vacancies. he said the , there will another notification in coming monday like reducing the minimum cuffoff… is that so? reply me.. plz..

  10. sir today iob released the first list candidates list. in that in tamilnadu out of 536 only 411 names are there, and in andhra out of 120 only 97 names are the there so on. so wre is the remaining vacancies. nearly 25% vacancies are not filled yet. so i hope there will be another notification in coming week… can we expect that.. if not wat the the remaining vacancies?? pls reply me…

  15. Sir u in the above list there are so many vacancies in each state. But only 50 perc vacancies are declared by ibps according to above list. I want to know that rest of the vacancies will come out or not in this year.

  25. Sir Indian Overseas bank and UCO bank have declared allotment less than there specified quota in every state doest it signifies that the remaing seats will be alloted to the waiting list candidate in the coming days.plz rply sir……

  27. In AP some candidates applied multiple applications(in two states) for ibps clerk2 exam.after allotment they get a mail from ibps.who are applied multiple applications they are rejected for allotment process.how many candidates are rejected?plz plz plz sir reply

  32. Sir my age is 27. And i hav alloted pnb. Will pnb reject my offer latter due to age problem because pnb age criteria is 20-25. But in ibps age criteria is 18-28. And there is no mention of seperate-seperate age when we filled prefrence of banks.

    EVERY CANDIDATE GET MAIL FOR THE PURPOSE OF ALLOTMENT.
    NOW THE CANDIDATE THINK THAT WHAT NEXT TO HAPPEN.

    hi friends…yesterday i contacted nearest branch and collected information about salary….our salary is highest among all banks after sbi…

    details of salary:

    basic pay=8000rs
    DA(revised every three months currently84% of basic pay for may,june,july)=6720rs
    house rent allowance depends upon where u posting(8% to 10%)=800rs
    computer maintenance=700rs
    tea=250rs
    news paper=150rs
    petrol allowance if you have own vehicle 15 litre (1000rs)otherwise 400rs

    TOTAL=17620

    deduction

    after probation period deduction of 10% from basic pay and DA for pf

  38. Hi friends, If there is more vacancy and luck u may get.. guys scored near the cut off narks and close have bright chance if there is second list…. For others its my own opinion, start preparing for forthcoming.. if there is lucky, we may get…… dont depend on this alone.. Becoz after allotment, we realize there is heavy competition in tamilnadu comparing to other states , i.e many candidates scoring same marks….
    I hope v can share useful matters thats useful for bank exam Its my idea….,

  40. sir i have been allotted punjab and sind bank. my score is 65.6%. i have got confirmation through sms but not by email. so is there any problem???? sms confirmation is valid or not?

    • ashish mera naam manpreet hai or mujhe bhi punjab and sind bank allot hua hai. Agar tumhe sms mila hai or mail nhi toh eska koi effect tumari recruitment per nhi padega. Mera mob no. 9465497103 hai. Agar tumare paas koi latest news hai toh mujhe call karo ya apna no. SMS se send kar do. Thnx

  42. @ lakshmi.. yeah many candidate who already working in bank.. giving their resigning letter.. so we can hope for upto 2% minimum cutoff.. so u belong to wic state and even 30% vacancies are not filled yet..

    • Again and again the same question by selected candidated by various banks first read all replies and then if you are not found answer for your question and then ask.

    will not get appointment letter,
    bank will shortlist candidates alloted by IBPS or will issue appointment to all alloted candidates.
